Louella Jean Hines (nee Dyck)

January 25, 1960 – June 30, 2017

With deep sadness we announce that Louella has passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 57 years. Louella is survived by her husband, Stephen Hines; her daughter, Renee (Stephen) Isley; step-daughter, Nikka Hines; brothers, Lawrence Dyck, Raymond (Naomi Quevillon) Dyck, Richard Dyck and Adrian (Alisha Stevenson) Dyck; several special nieces and nephews, Trevor, Ryan, and Ashley to name a few; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends.

Louella was predeceased by her father, Eric Jacob Dyck of Glenbush, SK; mother, Evelyn Maureen Larsen (nee Sawyer) of Armley, SK; and her younger brother, Eugene Lloyd Dyck of Wabamun, AB.

Louella was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on January 25, 1960, at the Saskatoon City Hospital. She lived in Saskatoon for several years before her family moved to an acreage in Clavet, SK. Upon her parent’s separation Louella moved with her father to Stony Plain, AB. Years later she came back to Saskatoon where she met her 1st husband Hubert Georget and had her one and only child Renee, Hubert and Louella divorced in 1991. Louella met Bob Rayner, they married in 1994, together they moved to Red Deer, AB, and started a new life together. Louella and Bob later divorced and she moved to Edmonton in 2002, where she met Stephen Hines in 2005. Louella and Stephen moved to Stony Plain in 2006 and married in 2015. Louella easily made new friends wherever she went and kept old friends all the way back to childhood. She had a bubbly easy going nature, a heart of gold, a genuine smile, and a contagious laugh. Louella loved to play games on her iPad, and catching up on Facebook. She liked to be outside in the sun, visiting with friends, traveling to hot destinations, enjoyed camping, and spoiling her little baby (Shih Tzu) Bailey rotten!! Louella will be sorely missed by her extended family and her very many friends in many places. Cremation has taken place as per Louella’s wishes.
