David Archibald Banks

June 2, 1941 – January 24, 2017

It is sad to announce that after a lengthy illness, David passed away January 24, 2017, at the age of 75 years old in Edmonton, Alberta.
Born in Middleton, Nova Scotia, he moved out west in 1975, where he began working with different paving companies. David had a real passion and special ability in finding used Ford automobiles for resale. In his life he crossed the country dozens of times, bringing the Ford’s to the east coast.
David is survived by his only son, Glenn (Kelly); grand-daughters, Shelby and Stephanie of Nova Scotia; sisters, Olga Dalgleish of Edmonton, Alberta, Rowena of Ottawa, Ontario; brothers, Roland of Fremont, Nova Scotia, Milford (Rose) of Enfield, Nova Scotia; several nieces, nephews and friends stretched across Canada.
David was predeceased by his parents, Reginald and Kathleen (nee Annis) Banks; his ex-wife, Sylvia; brother, Paul (Violet); sister-in-law, Shirley; brother-in-laws, Robert Dalgleish, Ronald Palmers, and Claude Dominique.
David was cremated and his final resting place will be in Nova Scotia, interment to take place at a later date.
